The planned expansion of the Ballard Farmers Market has been postponed until further notice.
The Ballard Farmers Market was supposed to launch their expansion this Sunday, Aug. 13 to extend the market one block further south along Ballard Ave to end at 20th Ave NW.
However, the market organizers now say they have to postpone the expansion.
“The Ballard Farmers Market extension, originally scheduled for this upcoming Sunday (8/13) has been postponed until further notice due to additional preparations, government regulations, and state permits requiring more time than initially anticipated,” Cory Brandley from the Seattle Farmers Market Association (SFMA) told My Ballard.
We’ll keep you updated on when the SFMA gets the green light to expand.
