Whim W’Him to host a free pop-up dance performance at Ballard Commons Park

This Wednesday evening, a group of professional dancers will be staging a pop-up performance at Ballard Commons Park.

The Whim W’Him Seattle Contemporary Dance company is hosting pop-ups all over the city this summer as part of a collaboration with Seattle Parks and Recreation and the City of Seattle.

The performance at Ballard Commons on Wednesday, Aug. 16 will start at 7:30 p.m.

This is the fourth year of Whim W’Him’s pop-up performances. 

“Join us in embracing the power of unity and connection as these mesmerizing pop-up performances breathe life into public spaces, transforming them into vibrant stages,” their website reads. “Gather with family and friends, grab a picnic blanket and let yourself be transported to a realm of artistic brilliance and inspiration.”

  • Aug. 17, 7:30 p.m. – Martha Washington Park
  • Aug. 19, 4:00 p.m. – Pratt Park
  • Aug. 19, 7:30 p.m. – Jefferson Park
  • Aug. 23, 7:30 p.m. – Myrtle Reservoir Park
