Ballard NW Senior Center hosting its annual rummage sale to raise money for programming

The Ballard NW Senior Center is holding its annual rummage sale fundraiser today and tomorrow, Sept. 22 and 23.

Now in its 50th year, the Ballard NW Senior Center (5429 32nd Ave NW) relies on several fundraising events to keep its programming going. The rummage sale fundraiser is one of the larger events the center holds.

The sale runs Friday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers

“Whether you’re looking for antiques, jewelry, kitchen items, clothes, linens, art, children’s items, glassware or knick-knacks, the Ballard Senior Center Rummage Sale is the place for shoppers and treasure hunters to be on September 22 and 23! Support local seniors and shop ‘til you drop!” the event info reads.

There will be house-made soups, sandwiches, pastries, and cookies available for purchase during the sale.
