The Ballard Wine Walk is back this October, with 15 Washington wineries and 15 tasting locations.
Organized by the Ballard Alliance, the Ballard Wine Walk will be Oct. 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The evening starts at Umpqua Bank (2212 NW 56th St) where participants will get a wristband, map of the tasting locations, and tasting tickets. You can bring your own vessel or purchase a commemorative Visit Ballard Wine Walk govino® glass to use during the event.

“The Ballard Wine Walk not only creates an opportunity to explore the flavors of select Washington wines while visiting some of Ballard’s best boutique shops, it also serves as a fundraiser for the Ballard Alliance – a non-profit neighborhood organization that implements programs throughout the year to support our local businesses and residents,” Ballard Alliance Executive Director Mike Stewart said in a statement.
It costs $35 for 10 tasting tickets, and an additional three tasting tickets are available for $10. The commemorative glass is $5.
Every wine walk since it started in 2019 has sold out; you can buy tickets online.
