Celebrating over 45 years of excellence in child care in the Ballard area. Serving children ages 1 year to 5 years, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, as a mission of Ballard First Lutheran Church.
We currently have openings in four of our six classrooms, with both full-time and part-time options available.
The openings we have are in:
- The RAINBOW ROOM ages 3-4 years where self-expression and becoming truly independent blossoms.
- The SEASHELL ROOM ages 3-4 years where socialization and cooperation are two key elements.
- The RAIN FOREST ROOM with ages from 3 ½ – 4 ½ a classroom that offers a variety of academic challenges and makes learning fun!
- The CLOUD PRE-K ROOM ages 4 ½ -5 years where the focus is preparing the child for the kindergarten experience.
Teachers are dedicated to your children and their growth process, both academically and spiritually. We share a nurturing and loving environment in a home-away-from-home setting.
Teacher’s credentials range from Early Childhood Education Certificates to Early Childhood Education or higher degrees. Education for all teachers is encouraged and supplemented.
OUR MISSION: Ballard First Lutheran Childcare and Preschool is dedicated to planting seeds of Love, Hope, and Faith in the children of today so that they may continue to grow in God’s love and light. As a result, it is hoped that these children will become self-confident, sensitive, caring, independent, and inventive children of God as they make their journey into adulthood.
