Fremont Solstice Parade organizers seeking help to find stolen parade float trailer

Someone recently stole one of the Fremont Solstice Parade float trailers, and the parade organizers are asking for helping finding it.

Daniel from the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) told My Ballard that the trailer was taken overnight on Tuesday, May 14 from the Powerhouse art studio at 3940 Fremont Ave N.

The trailer has a flat wood deck painted white and has dual wheels attached to the trailer tongue. It’s 7 feet wide by 8 feet long.

“We urgently need your help to recover it!” the council said.

The Fremont Solstice Parade is coming up in a few weeks, happening June 22. The arts council spends the weeks ahead of the parade building the floats, and need the trailer back to support one of the floats.

If you have any information or spot the trailer, reach out to the FAC at parade@fremontartscouncil.org.
