There’s a new brewery coming to Ballard: Yakima-based Single Hill Brewing is opening its first Seattle location in the neighborhood later this summer.
Single Hill will move into the former Outpouring Bottle Shop location at 6400 24th Ave NW. Outpouring just closed its doors at the end of May.
The brewery is naming the new location Single Hill Commons; “a place for beer, wine, and community,” Andrew Pytel, Single Hill director of sales and marketing shared in a press release about the opening.
Single Hill’s primary focus will be beer, but Pytel shared that they plan to retain the on- and off-premise wine and beer offerings that Outpouring had.
“We don’t want this to feel like ‘just another brewery in Ballard,'” Pytel said. “So we’re keeping space on our tap list and in our to-go coolers to feature breweries we like and respect. Many in the neighborhood knew Outpouring as a wine bar, so we’ve decided to commit to that side of the business, as well.”
Single Hill is expected to open by August 1.
