The recent burger venture by Beast and Cleaver, 49th Street Beast, is set to close later this summer.
Beast and Cleaver owner Kevin Smith opened 49th Street Beast in September 2023 inside Fair Isle Brewing at 936 NW 49th St.
Smith posted the news on his Beast and Cleaver Facebook page last week, saying he’s closing the 49th Street Beast kitchen on July 28.
“We have had the honor of working with an amazing team, and have loved this opportunity, but some things just aren’t meant to be,” Smith wrote. We’ve reached out for more details regarding the reason for the closure, and will update if we learn more.
Smith says when 49th Street Beast closes, he’ll resume the Friday burger pop-ups at his butchery on 2362 NW 80th St.
