Fremont Solstice Parade and Fair is this weekend

Get ready for a wild weekend in Fremont: The 33rd annual Fremont Solstice Parade and Fair is taking over the neighborhood starting tomorrow.

The main event is the parade, happening June 22 at 1 p.m. The parade starts at 3rd and Leary Way, continuing east along 36th St, turning right on Evanston Ave N, and then a right on N 35th St, finishing at the Seattle Art Cars display insight the Fremont Fair.

As usual, the naked cyclists will be in attendance just before the parade starts: They’ll be doing loops starting at 12:50 p.m.

There’s also live music all weekend long, with two stages on N 35th St (see map above).

New this year will be the plant-based block party on Evanston between N 34th and N 35 Streets which will feature plant-based vendors with vegan and eco-friendly products.

Also new this year will be a non-alcoholic cocktail garden on June 22 hosted by Cheeky & Dry Non-Alcoholic Bottle Shop.

The famous dog parade is also back again this year, happening Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. Registration is on Sunday on 34th Ave at the Dog Parade tent from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
