Woman dies in Fremont motorcycle crash

A 27-year-old woman died in a motorcycle collision late Monday night in Fremont.

The accident happened at around 10 p.m. near Aurora Ave N and N 43rd St when a 43-year-old man driving an SUV changed lanes and struck the motorcyclist.

Both were traveling south on Aurora Ave N; the motorcyclist was in the curb lane the SUV changed lanes to make a right turn on 43rd when he struck the woman.

The motorcyclist was sent to the hospital and died as a result of her injuries.

Police say the man was not impaired at the time of the incident.
