The site of the former Mac’s Upholstery store at 5011 15th Ave NW has just changed hands again.
Ponte LLC (associated with Calhoun Property Management) bought the corner lot in 2017 for about $2.2 million. Mac’s Upholstery is now located in Greenwood at 945 N 96th Street.
Ponte LLC had plans to turn the lot into a five-story, 134-unit building for its aPodment brand.
Now, seven years later, the property has changed hands again for $3.5 million—this time to Ponte Partners LLC, associated with developer Harry Arsene, the Seattle DJC reports.
There’s no demolition permit yet for the site, the DJC writes, and it’s not clear that the development plans will remain the same.
