This weekend there will be three holiday markets in Ballard: Julefest at the National Nordic Museum, the Crown Hill Holiday Pop-Up Market, and the Ballard Senior Center Holiday Bazaar.
Julefest is scheduled for tonight (Nov. 22) through Sunday, Nov. 24 at the National Nordic Museum. Tickets for tonight’s festival are sold out, but there are still tickets available for Saturday and Sunday. Along with crafts for sale, they’ll have a Valhalla Beer Hall, photos with Santa, and live music.
The free Crown Hill Holiday Pop-Up Market is on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 9250 14th Ave NW from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. They’ll have folks selling crafts, photos with Santa, and glühwein for sale.
The free Ballard Senior Center Holiday Bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 23-24) at the Ballard Senior Center (5429 32nd NW). There will be craft vendors, a bake sale, and lightly used Christmas decor for sale.
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) had planned to close the Ballard Bridge for its last round of maintenance, but due to the events in the neighborhood this weekend, they’ve opted to keep it open and canceled the closure.
