Seattle Parks seeks new concessionaires for Bergen Place, Carkeek, and Golden Gardens

The city’s parks department is looking for new concessionaires for several Seattle parks, including Bergen Place, Carkeek Park, and Golden Gardens.

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) put out a request for proposals (RFP), which opened on Dec. 6 and closes on Feb. 6, 2025.

At Carkeek Park (950 NW Carkeek Park Rd), SPR says the concessionaire may set up by the restrooms. The cost would be $150 per month during the peak season (May 1 to Sept. 30).

At Bergen Place (5240 22nd Ave NW), SPR says they’re looking for someone who operates a food cart (no food trucks or other vehicles). They say there won’t be vending on Sundays or during SeafoodFest weekend in July. The cost is $300 per month during peak season.

And at Golden Gardens (8498 Seaview Pl NW), SPR is looking for non-food concessionaire—for example, a stand-up paddleboard rental company. The cost is $300 per month.

Proposals are due by Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.
