D’Ambrosio Gelato closes Ballard Ave location

The Italian ice cream shop D’Ambrosio Gelato (5339 Ballard Ave NW) has closed permanently.

D’Ambrosio Gelato opened in 2010, and was one of the only stores the company has in the U.S. The only other U.S. location is in Fairfax, Virginia—the others are in Italy, France, Taiwan, China, and Australia.

No word yet on what’s going to take over the space, but we’ll update you when we learn more.
