Lots going on this weekend, and the weather is looking good…
– Friday from noon until 6 p.m. is the blood drive at Archie McPhee. They will closed from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Call 206-297-0240 for more information.
– The popular Pumpkin Prowl at the Zoo runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening. Then on Saturday and Sunday, zoo keepers will throw pumpkins to the animals, just for fun. Check out the schedule here.
– Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. is the Halloween Carnival at the Ballard Community Center (6020 28th Ave NW.) 25 cents per ticket. High School community service hours are offered for this event.
– Baked goods and craft items will be for sale Friday and Saturday at The Big Fall Sale at Ballard Baptist Church (corner of 20th Ave NW & NW 63rd.)
– On Saturday, Laura Bee Designs will host a fundraising shopping spree at their store (6418 20th Avenue NW.) 20% of the gross sales that day will be donated to Chimp Sanctuary Northwest.
– Celebrate the 102nd Annual Bazaar at the Leif Erikson Lodge (2245 NW 57th St) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy children’s activities, traditional Norwegian food and Nordic craft vendors.
– Saturday is the Norse Home Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5311 Phinney Ave N.
– For live music, check out the concert calendars for the Tractor Tavern, Sunset Tavern, The Bit Saloon, High Dive, Conor Byrne, Egan’s Ballard Jam House and Nectar.
