Happy election day! To celebrate, Cupcake Royale on Market Street is giving away a free baby cake if you tell them you voted. Starbucks is also giving away a tall cup of drip coffee if you ask for it. Starbucks was going to require proof that you voted, but turns out that’s illegal. There’s a federal statute that forbids freebies or payment for voting.
