San Francisco-based Salesforce announced its $15.7 billion acquisition of Tableau this morning, promising to keep the company based in Seattle. Tableau’s primary offices are in Fremont.
“With Tableau, Seattle will become our second headquarters of Salesforce,” said Marc Benioff, Salesforce co-founder and co-CEO. “It’s going to become our HQ2, if you will.”
Benioff said Tableau will continue to operate independently under CEO Adam Selipsk.
Tableau employs 4,200 people worldwide, with about half of them in the Seattle region, according to Geekwire. Two years ago, Tableau moved into a new Fremont headquarters building right off the Burke Gilman, with sweeping views of Lake Union.
“Seattle is so proud to be the home of world-class Tableau, and we hope Salesforce honors the profound depth of Tableau’s commitment to building community and quality of life in our region for the long-haul. Congratulations!” wrote Senator Reuven Carlyle on Twitter.

I’m hoping some of this massive payday will go to affordable housing in the area.
Or special software that automatically blocks trolls… and I don’t mean the Fremont Troll. Some people will never understand what the phrase “join the discussion” actually means.
Why do you hate freedom?
Perhaps you hail from a country that doesn’t value it as much?
So someone with equity in Tableau either gets dollars or Salesforce stock and for their stake and you are talking about affordable housing? Try taking an Econ 101 course. 🤓
Read the article, Tableau (which is located in Fremont) just received 15.7 billion dollars. It’s not absurb that they take some of this windfall and put into affordable housing.

To check and correct the program, I can say that for such a project, we have engaged a software team which is extremely crucial to the position of a successful team. I hope it will also be helpful if you ask experts about it and there are no software list of most popular programming languages bug problems. I hope someone would help. Since it is now impossible for many customers to access high quality software. Happiness!
