This weekend is all about Pride, with the massive annual parade taking over downtown Seattle on Sunday Saturday, and PrideFest happening in Capitol Hill on Saturday and at Seattle Center on Sunday.
The Pride Parade will start at 11am on Sunday on 4th Avenue and Union, ending at 2nd Avenue and Denny. The parade lasts about four hours.
PrideFest is happening all weekend long, with festivities on Capitol Hill from 12pm to 9pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 8pm at Seattle Center on Sunday.
PrideFest Capitol Hill will span five city blocks, with food, vendors, five stages with music and entertainment. PrideFest Seattle Center is the official pride festival, with live music and performances all day. Both are free and open to the public.
If you plan on attending any Pride events, get on your bike, take the bus, or walk — parking will be next to impossible, and traffic will make you wish you left your car at home. Metro will be on some revised routes due to Sunday’s parade — check here for service changes.
