So this is how we are going to take back this park? OK, works for me. Problem is, the same folks trying to clean this park up are the same people allowing open drug use and RV’s everywhere; city government/council. Then there is the church across the street handing out just enough to keep people around. When will that guy in the green truck move on and do something, other than hang out???
So this is how we are going to take back this park?
Take back the park from who? The people out there having fun every day despite your dystopian outlook on life?
There were two overdoses during movie night at the park last night.
That’s the crowd we would like to take the park back from.
maybe a hobo Olympics of some sort? fastest to dismantle and spray paint a bike…dirty needle darts…who can complete a single lap around the park without getting junk sick
How about a yuppie olympics where over privileged misanthropes are forced to compete for underpaying jobs, overpriced housing, and lack of affordable health care—all why being jeered by their community.
I enjoyed this today and will be back to enjoy more of the activities coming up. It is really nice to be able to meet and engage with the people in my neighborhood. The kids love it too.
