The National Nordic Museum is kicking off their new summer celebration Nordic Sól, with four days of cultural events and special programs.
The showcase will feature a different Nordic region each year, with an exploration of the Arctic for their inaugural event, August 22-25.
“With a cool focus on Arctic vendors, crafts, music, and culture, this collaboration of polar artisans and like-minded local businesses will feature a series of thoughtfully curated events,” the Nordic writes on their website.
They’ll have an Arctic-themed Pecha Kucha, a concert featuring the Circumpolar Hip Hop Collab, and an evening Arctic Adventure of modern fashion, traditional foods, and aquavit garden.
There will be Arctic film shorts, traditional Inuit games, and STEAM activities, with half-price admission to the museum on Saturday and Sunday (24th and 25th).
