The Target store in Ballard is getting closer to opening, and they’re hosting a hiring event this weekend to find staff.
The grand opening of the small-format Target is set for Nov. 10 — they say they are beginning to hire about 30 staff for the store, which is going in on the northeast corner of 15th Ave NW and NW Market St.
The job fairs will be held at Target’s Northgate store on three separate dates: Sept. 15 from 11am to 6pm, Sept. 23 from 4pm to 8pm, and Sept. 28 from 3pm to 9pm. They ask that candidates apply online prior to attending one of the hiring events.
As we’ve been reporting, other tenants include Polyclinic, WeWork and Equal Exchange Coffee.
Great news! Target is a good corporate citizen, and customers will benefit from increased competition for Safeway, Ballard Market, Bartell’s and QFC.
But Seattle is Dying!
Safeway over there Sucks anyways !
Sounds like WeWork is hurting. They were planing an entire floor of this building, so hopefully they don’t back out of the deal.
