$10Back by popular demand, The Vikings of Comedy return Nov. 4th with Cory Michaelis, Monica Nevi, Andy Iwancio and Chase Mayers!
Cory Michaelis has opened for Louie Anderson whose mentorship helped him record his squeaky-clean comedy special “Bad Teacher” in Provo, Utah for DryBarComedy.com and has garnered more than 25 million views online. Additionally, his first album “The Collage Dropout” – which isn’t so squeaky clean – was released on 800 Pound Gorilla Records and debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy chart and #2 on the Billboard comedy chart. Cory is a regular headliner in all of the clubs in the Pacific Northwest, opener at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and has headlined many fine and not-so-fine comedy clubs, casinos, colleges, and weird bars all over the country. He’s been invited to numerous, notable comedy festivals including being a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and a headliner of the Idaho Laugh Fest in Boise. Most recently, Cory was on Season One of the Netflix hit “Huge in France” starring Gad Almaleh and has performed internationally in Karachi, Pakistan and Dubai.
Monica has had the privilege of performing in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, 208 Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. In 2015 she was one of the headlining solo show performers for the comedy section of the Bumbershoot arts festival in Seattle. Monica has opened for Michael Ian Black, Ari Shaffir, Sarah Colonna and Nick Swardson among many other impressive names. Monica is the co-host of the popular HugLife Podcast.
Andy Iwancio is a transgender gal comedian from Seattle who is a regular at the Comedy Nest, Five Quarters Funny, and Comedy Crater. She has opened for Riley Silverman, James Adomian, and Cameron Esposito.
Returning to host will be the Louisiana Slow Burn, Chase Mayers!
