Tomorrow (Jan. 29) there will be an open house for those who want to learn more about the Sunset Hill Community Association.
The open house will include nibbles, drinks, live music, and info about the following local organizations and classes held at the clubhouse:
- Ballard District Council
- Ballard Historical Society
- Chickadee Music Together
- France Marien Remix Workouts
- Kids’ Movie Night
- Michelle’s Qi Gong
- Open Mic Music Night
- Sustainable Ballard
- Yoga Momma
The open house will also serve as an opportunity to become a member of the association, plus a chance to renew dues for existing members. There will also be an election for board members — if you’re an association member and you live in Sunset Hill (between 24th Avenue NW and Puget Sound, and NW Market Street and NW 85th Street), you are eligible to vote on the Board of Trustees and SHCA officers for the coming year. A presentation about the election and membership will be made at 7:15pm.
The event will run from 6:30pm to 8pm, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Sunset Hill Community Association’s Upper Hall (3003 NW 66th St).
