Seattle University launches 6th annual public safety survey

Seattle University has launched their annual public safety survey, live until Nov. 30.

This is the 6th year of the university’s public safety survey, created to solicit feedback on safety and security concerns for residents in Seattle. A report of the survey results is shared with the Seattle Police Department.

Last year, the biggest concerns from Ballard included theft, lack of police presence, and homeless encampments. As you can see below, car prowl and lack of police capacity have consistently been chief concerns for Seattle residents over the past five years.

The survey is available in Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, English, Korean, Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrinya and Vietnamese.
