Ballard celebrates election results with tambourines and car horns

This morning, cities around the nation are celebrating the news that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have won the election, and Ballard is no exception.

People woke to car horns, tambourines, and the chorus of pots and pans in the streets this morning. Below, photos and videos of celebrations in New York City and Ballard as the news broke.

According to a post by Cindy Guldahl in the My Ballard Group, a small gathering at 32nd Ave NW and NW 61st St (above) has been out waving flags and celebrating, and fireworks are going off in Greenwood.
