Seattle’s Stay Healthy Blocks program has another festive option for residents: it’s called Streetsgiving, allowing free permits for block closures for non-arterials around the city.
The Stay Healthy Blocks program, which has been extended until February, allows residents to apply for temporary block closures. Streetsgiving is the latest development, encouraging residents to stay local for Thanksgiving and get outside.
Streetsgiving permits will allow one-block closures between 9am to 9pm starting today (Nov. 25) through Friday, Nov. 27. Register using Survey Monkey, and follow these guidelines for notification and setup. You don’t need to apply; instead, just register your block and you’ll be approved.
