This Thursday, March 31, Councilmember Dan Strauss will be hosting a virtual town hall.
In his newsletter, Councilmember Strauss says the town hall is dedicated to answering questions from the public. The virtual meeting will start at 5:30 p.m.; to submit questions, visit this link to RSVP. You’ll be asked to fill out a short form and will receive a link to the event once you RSVP.
Strauss has been busy lately with enforcing stronger tree protections in Seattle, which entails a four-part proposal: Creating a tree service provider registry, enforcing a stronger tree protection ordinance, expanding exception tree definitions, and requiring payment for tree removal.
Strauss also recently celebrated the cafe street extension through January 2023, which allows businesses to continue utilizing sidewalks for outdoor retail and dining.
