Electrical work planned for NW Market St and 11th Ave NW this week

Crews will be performing electrical work at NW Market St. and 11th Ave NW this week as part of the updates to the Route 44 corridor.

SDOT says to expect to see crews on the southeast corner of the intersection during the work. They say to expect normal traffic around the work and that the bus shelter will remain open. Work will likely continue for several weeks.

NW Market St and 11th Ave NW was selected as the intersection for a new traffic signal and pedestrian crossing as part of the Route 44 Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor project.

Crews will also be working at N 46th St and Green Lake Way N as early as next week. The bus stop at that intersection has been temporarily relocated 100 feet east of its existing location.
