Our Photography Essentials class is four, 3-hour sessions* in-person with instructor Carla, who will unveil the mysteries of your camera and give you the confidence and knowledge to progress to creative photography. Photographic examples and exercises will demonstrate how your choice of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together to make images that YOU control.

Tailored, weekly assignments and instructor-led reviews of your images reinforce class content and speed your progress.

Unlike a breezy weekend workshop, this class meets once a week for four weeks*, giving you time to practice and retain what you learned in each session.

Bonus: Let Carla know what camera you have at least 3 days before, and class lectures will feature personalized slides of your camera model’s interface and settings..
