Heavy frost, thick ice on the windshield and slippery driving conditions greeted Ballard residents this morning after a chilly night. And keep those ice scrapers handy: the cold weather will continue for a few days.
The forecast calls for high temperatures in the 30s for most of the week, with lows in the 20s. And there’s even a chance for some light snow flurries tonight and into Sunday morning. Stay warm!

You call this cold? When I was a kid it would get to minus 100 without your silly wind chill. Kids today don't know how good they got it!
Up hill! Both ways!!
And I bet ya had to walk ten miles to school in it too, huh, old man? ;-)
Shhhh!!!! Don't say the S word!
What Silver said!
Ironically, the coldest weather I ever experienced was in Atlanta, GA. Wind chill of -15 degrees. As long as our house has heat and I have ten layers of clothes to put on when I go outside I kind of like cold weather.
