The Swedish Hospital in Ballard is reopening its main entrance after three years of being closed.
Swedish Ballard closed its main entrance during the pandemic in 2020 to prioritize the safety of patients, caregivers, and community members. The reopening will be a big event, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for Monday, May 22 at 10 a.m. at Swedish Ballard (5300 Tallman Ave NW).
Swedish spokesperson Jodelle Davis tells My Ballard that the reopening will allow easier access for the community.
“We look forward to safely reopening this important part of our campus and are grateful to provide the community easier access to our quality services,” Swedish wrote in its ribbon-cutting event details.
