The Ballard FC had a successful weekend at the USL2 Western Conference, meaning they’re moving on to compete in the national finals this coming Saturday.
The homegrown soccer league celebrated two victories in last weekend’s games: Ballard FC took the win against Ventura County Fusion in overtime 4-3 during the Northwest Division championships. Then, the team beat the Flint City Bucks 1-0 in the National Semifinals, securing their finals spot.
The national finals are scheduled for Saturday, August 5 at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila. Ballard FC will be up against Virginia-based Lionsbridge FC at 7 p.m.
