Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We invite you to join us for the annual fundraiser for Edible Hope Kitchen, a ministry of St.
Luke’s Episcopal Church, on October 10, 2023 at Bickersons Brewhouse in Ballard!
For over 30 years, Edible Hope has been serving meals to all who are in need in our church
basement every weekday, Monday through Friday. Since 2020, the number of individuals in our
community that are in need of help finding food, housing and health support continues to
increase, and we need your help to keep up with the demand. Since Edible Hope is relocating in
2024, your support matters more than ever. We are hoping to modernize our new space and
increase our meals served from 100 every morning to 200-250 each weekday.
On October 10th, we anticipate over 200 event attendees will help raise $100,000. All donations
are tax deductible. We are blessed to have Bickersons partnering with us for this fundraiser with
all ticket sales going towards supporting Edible Hope. In addition, we will have raffles and a
Raise the Paddle to help make our goal. There will be delicious food provided by local
businesses as well. It will be a fun night for all!
