The National Nordic Museum (2655 NW Market St) is gearing up for its free summer outdoor movie series—Nordics in Hollywood—with the first movie Fantastic Mr. Fox set to show on June 27.
The Nordic chooses movies that have a Nordic connection. Fantastic Mr. Fox filmmaker Wes Anderson has both Swedish and Norwegian ancestry.
The movie will be screened in the National Nordic Museum’s parking lot behind the museum. If you plan to attend, bring your own chair or something soft to sit on. No dogs are allowed.
Seating for the film will open at 7:30 p.m. with a trivia game planned for 7:40 p.m. Fantastic Mr. Fox will start at sunset, or about 8 p.m. If it’s raining, they’ll move the film indoors to the Osberg Great Hall.
