One Stop Smoke at 5901 24th Ave NW sustained damage over the weekend when a car tried to break in by ramming the front of the store in the middle of the night.
This is the fourth break-in at One Stop Smoke in the last few years, employees told Komo News. They said they installed laminated glass that, along with protective gates inside the store, kept the thieves from being able to enter this time.
Witness Bramley Birrer who lives nearby told Komo that it happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday night and that he saw a man in a hoodie running to a getaway car right after the crash.
Seattle Police are investigating the incident with no arrests at this time.
