The Biringer’s Strawberry stand is now open in what used to be the parking lot of Sunset Bowl (1420 NW Market St).
Peggy emailed us this photo and says that Biringer’s had to work out details with the developer to have access to the traditional location. “Local strawberries just came into season. YUM!” Fresh raspberries, too, she says.

Anyone remember when you used to be able to buy fireworks from this stand when they were still legal :)
Does anyone know if their strawberries are certified organically grown?
I can leave Marysville… and Biringers opens a stand here.
I don’t care if they’re “certified” but I’d like to know if they spray or not. If they don’t have a sign, usually means that they do spray.
There are also local Sakuma strawberries in Greenwood, Ballard, and Central Markets. 3# for 6 clams, and they are insanely delicious.
What a classy shot, what with the woman about to pop chillaxin’ on the right…
Not better than the bowling alley
