When I read this I had to giggle… I live across the street from the Stepping Stone and I can’t imagine that sidewalk seating is going to make much difference. It is SUCH a loud place anyway. I’m all for Ballard night life, but I have to admit, I’m looking forward to moving away from the Stepping Stone for some peaceful evenings/nights.
Throught this might be a nice place when it first opened…bartender was great..but next time I tried to go in the volume drove me out..not for my demographic I guess
What I thought when I read this. Where are they going to put seating out there?
the sound that carries outside is really loud as it is. Then the smokers and hanger outers talk loud. I am sure they will want to install speakers outside too. Screw the residential neighbors. More liquor licenses and outside smoking-i mean seating!!!
they already have speakers outside, which I believe is not in keeping with the rules of applying for outdoor seating…….
