Petunia (or Tooey) the love bird got out of the house Saturday morning near the corner of 9th Ave NW and NW 62nd St.
“She loves people, and will probably try and land on your hair or shoulder and hang out,” Tooey’s owner Jeff emails us. He says that she doesn’t like to be grabbed but “She is easy to pick up if you stick your finger out and move it toward her chest while saying ‘step up.'”
We live right by that corner — I’ve seen that bird in the window! We’ll definitely keep an eye out this evening.
I though I taw a putty tat!
You did!
