On Tuesday evening, the Whittier Heights community is invited to meet with Seattle Police.
In response to concerns expressed by Whittier parents and neighbors, the Whittier PTA is pleased to host an community meeting with representatives from the Seattle Police Department. Officer Scott McGlashan and Terrie Johnston are looking forward to hearing from neighborhood members and will provide some guidance regarding reporting suspicious activities.
The meeting will take place in the Whittier Elementary (1320 NW 75th St) library at 7 p.m.
Oooooh. The criminals are REALLY scared now. The “catch and release program” around here is alive and kicking. Liberal judges and crowded jails mean no time, in many instances, for the crimes committed. We have roughly 85% of the crimed being done by 10 % of the people. It’s called “recitivism”. Buy a gun. Learn how to use it and respect it. Just like your credit cards! Why do we have to put up with graffiti?
dear al, the city will give you free paint and you can go cover up that graffiti. Of course this would mean that you have to get off your couch perch. prolly too much work for you?
My car was tagged twice last week. The second time the tag was scratched into the paint. I shouldn’t have to put up with that
you might want to talk to the local teens.
The meeting was really good. Let’s keep up the community involvement and block watches. If one thing was reinforced in my mind, it’s get to know and like your neighbors, and don’t be afraid to call 9-1-1. Thanks to Community Crime Prevention Specialist Terri and Officer Scott for your time and help!
Actually, it’s called recidivism. We have crowded jails because of our stupid “war on drugs.” If we’d stop worrying about what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, we’d have more space and money to deal with the violent amongst us.
I don’t think *these* are consenting adults doing it in the privacy of their own homes. You’ve obviously haven’t been around *these* types of citizens. Too busy in the privacy of your own home?
