UPDATE: Tonight, 15th Ave NW will in fact be closed from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. in order to ready the testing, which will happen Wednesday and Thursday. NEEA and the City of Seattle will be conducting a dry run of the testing tonight and are setting up for the next two nights of testing with participants. If participants have questions they should consult the contact provided to them in their participant information.
Earlier: The testing tonight has been cancelled, and 15th Ave NW will remain open. However, it will be closed Wednesday and Thursday nights (March 7-8) for scheduled testing.
Original post: As we reported last week, 15th Ave NW between NW 65th and NW 80th will be closed for LED streetlight testing tonight from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The testing will continue tomorrow and the next day (March 6-8). The testing is to gather information about the quality and safety of LED streetlights on a busy city arterial.
