As we teased nearly five months ago, Po Dog hot dogs will indeed be making their grand entrance into Ballard very soon. While they’d planned to be open much sooner (the original estimate was for a November opening), various inspections meant delayed gratification. That said, you can get your hands on some Po Dogs in the very near future. William from Po Dogs said they’re hiring and scheduling staff this week and next, and should be open within the next week or two.
The new location will be the third Po Dog in Seattle (other locations are on Capitol Hill and University District). It will be at 2014 NW Market St., where Market Street Traders used to be. They will serve dogs 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Saturdays. To get your taste buds going, here’s a look at their menu.
