At 9 p.m. on Monday night, two men robbed KFC on NW Market St. at gunpoint. The men fled in a waiting car and are still at large. No one was injured in the robbery.
According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD) Blotter, they gained entry to the kitchen area of the restaurant. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, which they used to force the employees to open the cash register. After getting some cash from one of the registers, they fled on foot to a nearby waiting car.
The suspects, says SPD, are described as a white male, 5’11″, twenties, and the other is described as an unknown race male, 5’11″, twenties. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects, and robbery detectives will now be responsible for an investigation.
