Next Friday, April 27 is the 20th Daddy-Daughter Dinner at the Ballard Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is a long-standing tradition for the Ballard Community Center, but because of 2011 budget restrictions, Seattle Parks and Recreation wasn’t able to host the event last year. Under the new operations model for the community centers, Parks can once again make it possible.
The dinner is an opportunity for dads to escort daughters to an “elegant evening they’ll remember forever,” says Seattle Parks. This year, the event will feature a masquerade ball in addition to the meal. “Dress in your finest and enjoy a pasta bar, dancing, and good times with friends and family,” writes Seattle Parks. The dinner costs are the following: Daddy and one daughter, $60; Daddy and two daughters, $70; Daddy and three daughters, $80.
