An apparent arson fire at NW 85th St and Mary Ave NW has prompted the Seattle Police Department to investigate. The fire was put out quickly, and there were no injuries.

SPD Arson/Bomb Squad detectives are looking for a suspect in an arson fire, which damaged a north Seattle apartment building this morning.
Around 7:45 am, the suspect set a fire in the carport of the apartment building, at NW 85th Street and Mary Avenue NW in the Crown Hill neighborhood.
Several people used garden hoses to quickly put out the fire, but not before it damaged a parked car and scorched the walls of the apartment building.
