On Saturday, June 16, the Literacy Council of Seattle is hosting a huge used book sale at their location at 8500 14th Ave NW from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They say they’ve collected nearly five thousand, “incredible books from book collectors and generous donors.”
From the council:
For over 40 years the Literacy Council has been providing free literacy services throughout the Seattle area to immigrants, refugees and native-born adults who need assistance with essential English skills.
We have books covering every category from mysteries, fiction, biography, sports, travel, gardening, music, children’s, poetry – and we are selling most of these for the bargain prices of 50 cents to a dollar.
