On Saturday, Oct. 20, there will be a work party at Carkeek Park. They’ll be doing primarily forest restoration and trail maintenance, and will provide gloves and water for participants. They ask that attendees wear sturdy shoes, and follow the STARS signs to the meeting place at 9 a.m. The work party happens the third Saturday of every month.
