This Saturday, Jan. 26, the Market Street Singers will be performing their “Festival of Favorites” at the Ballard First Lutheran Church (NW 65th St. and 20th Ave NW) at 7:30 p.m. The concert is a sing-along event, a tradition that started in the summer of 2011 when the singing group hosted a community sing-along with favorite, popular songs. The group was asked to perform again at the Folklife Festival last year, and now they offer it in late January every year. They’ll provide all the music, and singers of all abilities are welcome. They ask for a donation of $10 to help cover the expenses of the event.
