The team at Ballard Blossom (1766 NW Market) are gearing up for a busy day delivering flowers to valentines all over the local area. The business stores the valentines orders in an empty shopfront that is bursting to the brink with blooms ready for the big day.
Ballard Blossom employee Dave Montgomery reported that the business sells over 1,500 bouquets around Valentine’s Day.
Our news partner The Seattle Times quoted Operations Manager Travis Treser. “Red roses are the standard go-to,” he said. However, he did advise that house plants are more desirable as they will last longer.
