The well-known super yacht “Vibrant Curiosity” was seen cruising under the Ballard Bridge at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. The yacht, which according to King 5 arrived in Seattle in June, was spotted by My Ballard reader Steven as it cruised passed his house.
According to King 5, the 280-foot-long super yacht was parked in Lake Union over the summer being readied for a cruise to Alaska. Vibrant Curiosity cruises at 20 knots and, according to the Daily Mail, cost approximately $100 million to build.
The yacht can accommodate 18 guests on board in luxury accommodation. According to yacht builder Oceanco, the yacht boasts a master stateroom, a VIP suite with a his and her bathroom, five double VIP suites and two double guest cabins. Vibrant Curiosity also has an exterior deck with a swimming pool and is so spacious that it can store smaller boats in its hull.
Thanks to Steven for sending in the photos of the magnificent vessel.
