Applications for developments in Ballard have been coming in fast throughout the start of 2014 to the Department of Planning and Development (DPD).

A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow a 6 story, 35-unit residential building with 3 live-work units (3,222 sq. ft.) and retail (1,884 sq. ft.) at street level. Parking for 19 vehicles will be located below grade. The existing structure is to be demolished.
A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow a minor communication utility (Verizon Wireless) consisting of 12 panel antennas (three sectors, four antennas per sector) on the rooftop of an existing apartment building. Equipment cabinet to be located at ground level.
